Pierre CERTON (1510-1782), choirmaster at the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, composed this Requiem mass in 1558. A consolatory work that carries the soul towards the light, this magnificent Requiem, previously unrecorded, is a gripping hymn to Life. In the way of the cantors of the Renaissance, the Vox Cantoris ensemble lets us experience all its expressiveness and spiritual profundity.
